|Romans, Reformers, and Revolutionaries|
|Reviews - Curriculum|
Rather than presenting students with a book where they learn little snippets of information about one short time in history, History Revealed uses a comprehensive curriculum approach. In Romans, Reformers, and Revolutionaries, students study history from the resurrection of Christ through 1799 from a Biblical worldview while taking into consideration everything going on in the world before, during and after this time period.
The student workbook integrates art, music, architecture, math, and numerous other subjects (making it a comprehensive curriculum) as they relate to the topic being discussed. The workbook also has areas for vocabulary, student self-evaluation, short answer questions, maps, etc. There is literally something for everyone (reading, written work, audio CDs, hands-on projects, etc.), which is a neat way to encourage students with different learning styles and preferences.
We actually purchased the audio CD before we went on vacation were looking for some interesting audio CDs to listen to. Since we homeschool, we thought we’d try history CDs and we came upon the True Tales, Digging Deeper, and What in the World CDs. It was only later that we found out that these went with the History Revealed curriculum series. They are so interesting that the children still listen to them all the time!
When parents place this curriculum in students’ hands, they will be begging to do schoolwork ! History will never be the same after you use Romans, Reformers, and Revolutionaries. You (and your children) will be so excited about history that you won't be able to get enough!
